Term 3 - 2018
In Grade 5 this term, we are exploring what motivates people to move to Bendigo and make it their home. Since the Goldrush began in 1852, Bendigo has attracted new citizens from far and wide. Bendigo has grown into a beautiful city, with a rich and interesting cultural past that leads right up to life as we know it today.
In the next few weeks, students will interview a person who has moved to Bendigo and ask them why they chose to live in Bendigo. Students will use the interview to design an oral presentation. These will be presented to the class later in the term.
In mathematics, students will start the term by collecting data to calculate the chance of an event.
On the 25th of July Grade 5 students will participate in a whole school incursion 'Music is Fun'.
Most exciting of all, our whole school production will take place this term.
