Term 3 Learning Program
In reading this term we will be working through the CAFE strategies that focus on developing comprehension, accuracy, fluency and expanding vocabulary. Students' will consolidate their ability to read a text accurately. They will also look at higher comprehension strategies such as asking and answering questions about the text, inferring and summarising. Students will look at the parts of a Non Fiction text. Students independent reading goals will be placed in their reading diaries. It is important for all students to complete 20 minutes of reading a minimum of 5 nights a week.
