Grade 2 Teachers
We have had a very busy start to our final term of the year.
Grade 2 Sleepover
We had a great time at the recent sleepover. All the children arrived at around 7pm on Thursday excited about setting up their beds in readiness for the sleepover.
After a short walk and mini disco we changed ready for bed and settled down to watch a movie.
On Friday after breakfast and packing up our bedding we headed into Bendigo for some ten pin bowling, then lunch of pizza in Rosalind Park. We would like to thank Penny and the parent helpers for getting our lunch organised.
We walked through the streets to the Discovery Centre where we were involved in plenty of activities such as chemical reactions in the Lab, looking at stars and planets in the Planetarium, trips down the vertical slide for some and trying all the other activities on offer.
On the whole the students were a credit to us.
This term we are studying Geography and will be looking at our local area as well as places beyond Australia. We are looking at where all the continents and oceans are on a map, as well as the equator.
Relay For Life
It was great to see so many costumes on Friday for our Annual Relay for Life event. Some photos have been added to show the variety.
